About the Forum
Designed for public managers, specialists, researchers, and representatives of civil society organizations, the event aims to discuss data, studies, and practical experiences to guide evidence-based decision-making processes and promote coordination between civil society organizations and public actors. The Forum seeks to expand the impact of child health promotion actions and strengthen public policies that ensure the comprehensive development of children and adolescents.
For the FJLS and Infinis, the FPPSI is a moment to bring together partners and actors in the field to reflect on their practice in light of the context and challenges, which informs our advocacy and grantmaking strategy. Therefore, special attention is given to producing original studies in partnership with Instituto Pensi, as well as external partners, to be presented at the event, in addition to systematizing the debates in a publication and a special edition of the Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR) – Brazil.
To date, all events have taken place in São Paulo, typically between September and October. In years when the Pensi-Sabará Congress on Child Health takes place, the FPPSI precedes the Congress.

Target Audience
One of the Forum’s challenges is the diversity of audiences, which varies according to the topics addressed in each edition. To expand reach and ensure access to different interest profiles, the event is held in a hybrid format, with in-person participation and live streaming on our YouTube channel. This way, we can engage both the audience that closely follows the discussions and those who participate remotely, expanding the impact of the issues debated. The event brings together guests with profiles such as:
- Public managers from municipal, state, and federal levels.
- Researchers and specialists in public health, child protection, and Infinis priority topics.
- Civil society organizations and collectives.
General Structure of the Forum
The Forum is organized around thematic panels, fostering debate through the presentation of data, evidence, case studies, and practical experiences from local projects. It generally includes:
- Opening and closing remarks.
- Technical panels with specialists.
- Launches of research or strategic products.
- Spaces for coordination among participants.
