Mission
To promote a healthy and equitable childhood in Brazil through evidence-based advocacy and by strengthening civil society organizations and the philanthropic sector.
About Infinis
We are the philanthropy and advocacy front of the José Luiz Setúbal Foundation, the most comprehensive child health hub in the country.
About us
The Infinis – Healthy Childhood Future Institute works to defend the rights of children and adolescents and to strengthen civil society in Brazil.
Established in 2025—the year the Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary—Infinis was created to consolidate and boost the group’s grantmaking and advocacy efforts, expanding its impact and reaffirming its commitment to structural, long-term transformation.
The José Luiz Setúbal Foundation structures its work around six priority thematic areas: respiratory health, high-complexity care, mental health, violence prevention, food security, and strengthening civil society. At Infinis, we focus our efforts on the latter four areas, while also supporting cross-cutting initiatives that align with these fields.
In 2025, we supported 68 projects, established 60 partnerships, conducted 7 field visits, and invested R$ 8.5 million, significantly expanding our presence in the North and Northeast regions. All our actions are carried out with respect for the diverse childhoods and adolescences that make up Brazil.
Beyond quantitative metrics, our work is grounded in the trust built with organizations, experts, and partners who share a common vision for the future and believe in the power of cooperation to transform child health in the country.
We base our work on scientific evidence and dialogue with various stakeholders to contribute to the improvement and implementation of public policies, the transformation of behaviors, and the development of local solutions that promote child health and well-being.
As part of our commitment to a strong and diverse civil society, we support knowledge production, scientific research, and the work of sector infrastructure organizations, thereby strengthening institutional capacities and expanding collective impact in defense of children.
