The 8th Public Health Policies Forum for Childhood will take place on September 30 in São Paulo, with online streaming, and will bring together experts to discuss preventing violence against children and adolescents.
New findings from the survey Attitudes and perceptions about childhood and violence against children and adolescents in Brazil will be presented at the 8th Public Health Policies Forum for Childhood. Conducted by Infinis and Quaest, this stage of the study brings unprecedented data on bullying, cyberbullying, and children’s and adolescents’ relationship with school.
The presentation will take place at 11:20 AM on September 30, in a panel with Climene Laura de Camargo, from the School of Nursing at the Federal University of Bahia (EE/UFBA) and the Crescer Group, and Floriza Freire Gennari, from George Washington University. The session will be moderated by Pietro Rodrigues, from the Pensi Institute.
Released in July, the first stage of the survey addressed education and care practices, the normalisation of violence, child labour, rights, and mechanisms for protecting childhood.
With the theme Preventing violence against children and adolescents, the Forum will bring together public managers, researchers, civil society organisations, and international bodies to discuss prevention strategies. The event will take place at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in São Paulo, starting at 9 AM, with online streaming via the Childhood Health Channel.
